A perfect gardening day

Today I spend the day in the garden, the weather was perfect. The temperature was in the high 70s, sunny and breeze. It was one of those days with no particular shores, I took some pictures, pull some weeds and moved pots around (A perfect day)

The Brunfelsia looks like it's decorated for Christmas

This Celosia was a gift from a friend, I love the fullness of the color.

This male Julia butterfly was flying around the garden.

The Bolivian Sunset are growing wild in different flower beds.

Vegetable garden update.

Everything is growing a little slow, and it might be because of the lack of sun. This area is getting less sun as before, there are many mature trees blocking the sun light.

The lettuce is grown nicely.

The broccoli is doing well, but eggplant is verily hanging on.

The tomatoes are growing well and so are the herbs.

Everything's looking lovely, Rusty. Winter sun is never where you want it to be.

I love your veggie garden...it looks quite artistic in design and definitely well organized. Sounds like you had a wonderful day. Have a merry christmas, too!

We're having perfect gardening weather as well but not in the 70s..in the 60s. I don't mind at all. Hey, I love that cinder block veggie garden idea. Looks great. I wish I had more sunlight or I'd do the same.
Merry Christmas y Feliz Navidad!
