Lantanas are quickly becoming my favorite flowers in my garden. These sun-loving, drought-resistant flowers are perfect for South Florida gardens.
This weekend I replaced the yellow lantanas bordering the street. This hardy plant has faithfully provided a couple of years of lovely flowers but it was time to change her.

An added bonus to planting these flowers is how much bees and butterflies love them.

I love lantanas. They're so cheerful-looking and even better, they send out the 'come-hither' call to prety butterflies and birds. I have wild lantana bush growing inconveniently right in the middle of my vegetable patch. I refuse to cut it down because it's a real favourite with the winged wonders. I can live with a little less veggies, I think!
Hi Rusty....I love lantanas but they fail to do well here....the rain being the main problem.....
I have tried them in pots but they really don't last very long....
Lovely to see yours and I do have lantana envy.......
I love lantana too, for the way it flowers all year, so abundantly, and how the butterflies love it!
