All water fountains are not the same.

I am a big fan of the sound of running water in the garden; that’s why I have two water fountains--one in the back garden and one in the courtyard. This week, the pump from the courtyard fountain stopped working. “News Flash “ the pump is attached to the fountain and it cannot be replaced. Today I bought a new fountain at Lowe’s with a replaceable water pump

The old fountain is now a flower planter in the front of the house and I planted rose moss.

It's raining again this afternoon. The rainy season is truly upon us!
The rain barrels are full

My newest toy, a Nikon D3100 SLR camera, was birthday gift from the CFO of the DragonFly Garden (my wife). Can you tell that I was a good boy?!!! Now I need to learn how to use it since it's not as simple as my old point-and-shoot.

It's great to see you're getting some rain. I do hope the rainy season is not too long and dreary for you though. We had a horrid one over our Summer here. Your garden seems to loving the rain so far.

Love your new fountain and I like the way you re-cycled your old one. It will look fabulous when the Moss Rose is covered in flowers.

Beautiful garden and nice camera! I have a D5000 and I love it. If you need any tips let me know. I shoot professionally with mine. The real trick is getting a nice lens =)

I just saw that same fountain today at Lowe's! Very nice. Water fountain is on the top of my Garden wish list. I also love the repurposed water fountain. I remember you already had one old water fountain used as planter, right? I think they will be best for those shallow rooted plants. Do you need to drill some drainage holes?

We also got a good amount of rain today. Your garden looks very fresh and beautiful after the rain.

I am very jealous of your rain! Your garden looks so lush. In Texas, we are watering furiously just to keep things alive. We are having to let many things just die.

Congrats on the new camera, Rusty. It's a beauty! You are so lucky to be getting regular rain. We reached 101 degrees today with barely any rain in the past 60 plus days. Please send some of your rain northward. :-)

Thanks for writing about the fountain. I would never have thought to look for that.
