Night Blooming Jasmine
My night blooming jasmine is in full bloom. At night the sweet aroma coming from these flowers fills my entire neighborhood. The flowers and the plant is not much to look at but the aroma is second to none.
My husband's favourite plant. The scent of ours isn't very strong because the strong sea breezes takes it way, alas one wouldn't even scent the garden, far less the neighborhood...
My night blooming jasmine is only blooming sporadically since the cooler weather has set in. This plant always reminds me of my grandfather because it was his favorite plant, and he always had it on his property.
Ah, Rusty. You're enjoying night blooming jasmine, and i have snow coming out my ears. Well, almost. Certainly far too much of it in my yard! But that's why I escape to other people's blogs. I can almost smell the jasmine...
Gday Rusty. The Jasmine has a very strong perfume. We had it under our lounge window and it filled the house with its perfume, but unfortunatly we had to pull it out as my daughter and myself were alergic to the overbearing perfume.
I am wondering, everyone keeps telling me it's a vine. I have two plants by my front porch and I promise you it's not a vine! You can smell it on the summer evenings a quarter mile down the road! It has grown 3 feet in the last 2 weeks. Should I trim it back now?
