Wet garden
The rainy season has arrived ( YEAAAAAAA!!!!) Lots of rain yesterday, today and the rest of the week, and all is welcome. The rain barrels are full, the garden is wet and all the outside work must wait.
There is something magical about a wet garden, don’t you think?
Yes, there is something magical about a wet garden. I'd like a little bit of that magic myself. We haven't had any real rain in over 6 weeks. And it's cool, too. Never getting hotter than say 75F. What's your temperature like, Rusty?
Dear Rusty......when you live in England and see it on a regular basis, magical is not the word I would use.....but I am pleased it works for you......
Right now my peony's are lying all over the ground due to a whole lot of rain we are getting...and I was planning to take photos TOMORROW! I hope the blooms will still be attached! I do love a 'wet' garden, though! There are just some plants that droop over, in the rain, more than is good for their own long-term existence!!
