Is that time of the year for the night bloomer to put on a show

I was working in the garden this morning pulling weeds (so what else is new) I looked up, and to my surprised the night bloomer had bloomed overnight, quite a site don’t you think?
I don’t know how I missed it, I usually see the buds days in advance and I keep a vigil to see the flowers opening at night.
These are the first flowers for this year; it usually blooms three to four times during the summer. One night and that is it, by 10am the next morning they are all gone

Fabulous!!

When we first moved to FL we saw a neighbor with one with buds and the next day they were gone. We saw this several times and thought that guy was wierdo because we thought he kept picking the blooms off before it bloomed. LOL

Very nice!My dad had one in his greenhouse,up north, and when it would bloom he would wake all of us up to see it.I didn't appreciate it then, but I do now.

Those photos are amazing!

The second one reminds me a bit of a Muppet monster with its mouth open :-)

Absolutely stunning!

Gorgeous flowers. I almost forget how nice they are.
I just moved to Miami from the midwest recently. While worry about how to adjust the gardening approach, I almost forget how many more variety of things I can grow here.
I would love to have a night bloomer. Is it possible for me to get a cutting from you?
