Counting the days

I have a week’s vacation coming up April 17 to the 22nd. I am not planning to go anywhere, but I will be working in the garden. (I'm turning off my work blackberry). There are a couple of projects that I have in mind, and one involves construction. I’ll blog about it later. Queen palm Bees love the buttercup flowers The tallest Hollyhock ever in my garden This weekend was tax preparation weekend (so much fun) my time in the garden was limited, all I had time to do was take a few pictures and feeding the birds.

Rusty, so glad to know I'm not the only one who uses my vacation to stay home and work in the garden - like a fiend. You make it sound cool. Did my taxes LAST weekend. So glad that's over. I think this may be the first time I didn't file until the 13th or 14th or 15th. The threatened government shutdown pushed me into it Wednesday night. Have lots of fun in your garden! Take pictures.

I don't blame you wanting to spend your time on the garden - it's looking beautiful already. Have a great week!

Hi Rusty,
I spent last weekend in the garden and now every night this week doing taxes. It was a fair trade.
It's looking nice.

A week in the garden sounds like paradise...especially since you live in paradise. Your new header pic is adorable...love the view from that vantage point. Enjoy your week off.
