Redland International Orchid Festival

Today I attended the Redland International Orchid Festival at the Fruit and Spice Park in Homestead Fl.

Orchids and more orchids everywhere

These are some of the winners in the show tent

There were 61 vendors from around the world

The Fruit and Spice Park is a county park dedicated to growing tropical fruits and spices. This is my first time visiting, I will be coming back for a tour.

These are some of the orchids that followed me home. The spider looking one is for the house the other is for my office. I also purchased a few babies that will take awhile before I get flowers. The prices were a bit high, but it's impossible to go to this type of show and come home empty handed

Wow, that was a treat! So many beauties and I like your choices for take home orchids. Orchids cost an absolute fortune in my part of the world. The only ones I have are pass-alongs for that very reason.

What a great show to attend. The park seems like it would make a good outing all by itself. Lovely purchases you made. You are so right about not being able to come home from a show like that empty handed.
