Happy Forth of July

Happy Fourth of July to everyone, I hope you all have fun celebrating our nations birthday. I am planning to take it easy tomorrow (no work) and at night my family will be attending the fire works display at Coconut Grove on the bay.

Pictures from around the garden today, I am getting better with my new camera.

First flower from this plumeria tree in a pot.

Happy 4th to you & your Family, Rusty! Love your garden & your blog.
How about coming to my side of the state, SW FL & help me with a few gardening tips. Just a thought!

Hi Rusty,
Your garden looks beautiful. I garden up in Broward and I can relate to how quickly the garden can get overgrown. We compost quite a bit of our prunings but still have piles that end up out at the curb. Next up for pruning: white bird of paradise and a bougainvillea. Those will be a job.

It looks like you have a nice eye for design. My garden is a bit of a mix and is slowly evolving.

Hello Rusty,
hope you had a great 4th of July.
I can tell by the pictures you like your new camera. Your garden looks just awesome.
What is the name of the flower in the last picture? I love it!
