Happy Arbor "Earth" Day

This morning my garden greeted me with a symphony of Angel’s Trumpets, fitting for a celebration of Arbor day.
For the first time, both my white and pink angels trumpets bloomed at the same time.

Do something nice for Mother Nature today. It is her day!!!!!!!

Hi Rusty, those are fantastic angel's trumpets, and how great that they bloomed in tandem for you. Thanks for some beauty for Earth Day.

So that's what Angel's Trumpets are supposed to look like!

I am so jealous, beautiful angels trumpets, I can only grow them in a heated greenhouse or conservatory and there are yours growing in your garden. Wonderful, tks for sharing.
I planted two trees for earth day and scattered some wildflower seeds.

Hi Rusty, What a beautiful display of Angel Trumpets and to have them both flowering at once, is a bonus..

Wow, wow, wow! I just planted one of these in my mom's garden. Do you have any advice on getting them to bloom like that?

Okay - I have more questions. How long would it take a cutting to reach the size of your plants? And how often do you fertilize and with what? Okay, I'll try to leave you alone now, but I may be bace with more questions.

Hi WG
There is not much you need to do, they grow and grow. I usually fertilize twice a year but I don’t think it make that much a difference. Down here they bloom several times in the summer, legend has it that they do before rainy days. My white angel’s trumpets came as a cutting from my Dad’s garden about a year ago and look at it now

They are stunning! I had a good plant last year, silly me left it out and it has not come back. I am still hoping. Fortunately I did have one put under the house and it is fine. The scent must be to die for!
