Art at Fairchild Tropical Garden
This winter Fairchild Garden is featuring the art of Yayoi Kusama. Her art is playful and very colorful, perfect for an outdoor garden.
Look kids a playground…… “No, don’t touch” said the guard posted by Fairchild, each piece is worth over $700,000 Is this art?????

Hi Rusty~~ Yes. I believe it's art. And art is subjective. Some love it. Some loathe it. Most are somewhere between. If the pieces were about a tenth of the size and about a hundredth of the price, I'd put them in my garden. Not so sure about the polka dot floaters though.

I'm with Grace, a little too large and pricey for me...I do like the mushrooms in the water though..
I like the colorful flower, but I do think these pieces kind of trump the garden itself. And, wow...what a price! I wonder how much of it she sells.
I would pay money to see my neighbors' faces if I could put that flower in my garden... Too much formality around.
OMG Rusty it's so beautiful. I'm so out of it lately. I had no idea this is going on. I'm no longer a member, I better get with it. Thank you.
