I almost lost my Lady of the Night plant last winter during one of those below freezing nights, but this summer it came back.

Within seconds after sundown, the aroma bursts out of these flowers and it goes from zero to full power and is all gone daylight.

This a perfect plant to have while gardening at night.

Same thing here. I have to garden early early morning or at night here because it's just too hot in Tucson during the summer months. I'm glad it's getting cooler now.
I planted seeds of this and they did not sprout, I was so bummed out as I love scented flowers and this one sounded wonderful. The blooms are lovely too. I've never seen or smelled them, just read about them.
Enjoy ~ FlowerLady
